Bromsgrove: It's Tutu Season! ๐โจ
Hello lovelies! Summer is finally here and I am SO excited to share my ultimate guide to summer ballet in Bromsgrove! ๐โจ Let's get those tutus out and twirl into some serious fun!
Summer means one thing to a ballet dancer: a whole new world of dance possibilities! Gone are the heavy layers of winter tights, replaced with the light breeze and cool freedom of just a simple leotard. This is a time to play around with new styles and take on new challenges, all with the glorious summer sunshine inspiring us!

So, what does a #tutusummer have in store for us in Bromsgrove?
First off, letโs talk about the absolute joy that is ballet outdoors! There are some truly magical open-air performances happening right here in our town!
The Bromsgrove Open Air Theatre Company is putting on a dazzling production of "Giselle" at Sanders Park this year. Now, who doesn't love a little romantic tragedy with a touch of spooky supernatural magic in the open air? Make sure to get your tickets ASAP because this one always sells out!
Bromsgrove School is hosting a fabulous outdoor dance performance featuring the talented students of the Ballet Arts Studio! You can see everything from classical pieces to modern choreographies and everything in between - expect to be blown away by their creativity!
The beautiful grounds of Avoncroft Museum are perfect for some al fresco dance workshops! There's something about dancing amidst historic buildings that makes everything feel so much more magical! Check out the "Dance in the Courtyard" programme for some seriously cool summer dance workshops and masterclasses in everything from contemporary to ballroom!

But summer ballet doesn't have to be just about performances! This is the perfect time to try something new and push your ballet boundaries!
Join the Summer Intensive! Bromsgroveโs local dance schools all have incredible intensive programmes running throughout the summer months, where you can delve into different ballet styles. These programs are ideal for pushing your skills and maybe trying out some new techniques like ballet barre work, pilates, or jazz dance!
Turn Up the Volume! Remember when I said that disco music is my favourite? Summer is a perfect time for some retro vibes! Dance schools like Dance Studio Bromsgrove and The Academy of Dance have exciting workshops running during the holidays โ "Disco Dance!" and "80s Dance Extravaganza!" are just two of the fabulous class themes I spotted! Who's ready for some seriously fun choreography and killer moves?

(Include a short section with some tips about ballet outfits for the summer including light colours, breezy materials, and some great pink options!)
Summer ballet isn't just about perfecting our moves though; it's also a time for self-expression and making amazing memories with other ballet enthusiasts!
- Join the "Bromsgrove Ballet Club!" It's the best way to meet other ballet-loving friends in the area! We go to shows together, share tips, and of course, have tons of fun dressing up for themed picnics in the park before performances. (Look out for the next meeting, announced in our #tutusummer newsletter!)
