Hove is brimming with talent, and I'm excited to shine a spotlight on Darcey, a 16-year-old ballet dancer who embodies the spirit of summer ballet. Darcey, with her contagious energy and love for all things pink, is a shining example of why Hove’s dance scene is blossoming. Let’s hear from Darcey!
Emma: Hey Darcey, how are you feeling about summer ballet?
Darcey: Oh my gosh, Emma! I'm SO excited for Summer Ballet! It's like the entire city transforms into this dreamy, swirling wonderland. I can't wait to try all those classes! Disco Ballet? You bet! I've been collecting my best sparkly leotards and feather boas already!
Emma: I love your attitude! Any tips for our fellow ballet dancers this summer?
Darcey: Definitely try the beach ballet! Nothing beats the fresh air and the beautiful sea views while dancing. Plus, the beach sand is a natural "soft spot" for landings, if you know what I mean! And make sure to get your tutu fix at the Promenade dance event, it's so much fun.
