I know what you're thinking: "Ballet in Twickenham? Surely, there must be something more exciting?". But trust me, my loves, there's something absolutely magical about discovering hidden treasures right under your nose, and Twickenham's ballet scene is truly a diamond in the rough.
First stop – a little trip down memory lane to Twickenham's famous dance store, "Dancing Queen." You could get lost in there for hours, browsing everything from traditional tutus in a wide array of romantic, romantic, romantic shades to sassy and modern styles in neon brights and playful patterns. Their selection is absolutely to die for! It was a little overwhelming at first, all the different brands and models. Luckily the staff are experts, taking you through everything you need to know and offering guidance. So, if you’re feeling a little intimidated, they'll make sure you leave with the perfect pointe shoe for your feet and your dancing style.
Let me tell you, stepping out of that shop feeling fabulous in my new pointe shoes and a stunning leotard? There's nothing quite like it!
