But first, tea! ☕️ Before we dive into my fab-u-lous adventures, let's rewind to May 5th, 1993. Did you know, darlings, this day was positively overflowing with Dragtastic History? Let's sashay through the time machine together! 🕰️

Back in '93, the world was already buzzing with drag magic. From the cobbled streets of New York City to the glimmering boulevards of Paris, drag queens were leaving their dazzling mark on the world! 🌍 Let's have a peek into some of the sizzling performances that were set ablaze this day!

• New York City: Imagine, my darlings, being transported to a glamorous night at The Pyramid Club. The home to so many legends, this iconic venue was showcasing drag queen extraordinaire Divine's dazzling stage presence in her final performance. Now, I don't need to tell you just how legendary Divine was, with her iconic screen appearances and unforgettable looks. Sadly, this performance would mark one of the last we’d see of this true icon. RIP, my love!
• London Town: Now, over across the pond, we've got a completely different flavour, my dears. In London's bustling gay club scene, the legendary drag performer Paul O'Grady was setting the stage on fire with his iconic drag persona, Lily Savage, leaving everyone in hysterics! Oh, how I love to imagine those early years of Lily's drag domination - her hilarious jokes and the booming laugh echoing across the clubs. 🎤
• Paris: On this very same day, the enchanting city of Paris was dancing to the tunes of drag queen Conchita Wurst, who would later become one of Europe's most celebrated drag stars! Her performance that night was absolutely "très magnifique"! Conchita, I dream of experiencing those Parisian nights! You must share your tales sometime. 👠

The drag scene was literally popping off on all corners of the world, my lovelies. I can’t imagine being present at these groundbreaking moments!

My lovelies, as you already know, my heart is always yearning for the fabulous. My monthly time-traveling escapades are fueled by the very energy of these incredible performances, all while twirling my little pink tutu and spreading a sprinkle of my special kind of glitter. ✨

Today's destination took me to a sprawling Victorian mansion in Derbyshire. It felt as if I was in a film! 🎬 I arrived at the grand hall to find a spectacular ballroom dance class. But not just any ballroom dance class. This one, my darlings, was completely and totally Dragtastic! 💖

Imagine it, all those magnificent waltzes and elegant tango moves, done in drag. Let me tell you, those sequins and feather boas made a seriously stunning effect as they moved gracefully in the elegant space! You know, I think we should take this fabulous class next time, you, me, and everyone wearing pink tutus, darling! I cannot resist the opportunity for a Pink Tutu Ballroom Bash! 💖

Naturally, being transported to another era meant indulging in some fantastic shopping! 🛍️ Just imagine, my lovelies, exploring Victorian antique stores and discovering the most divine vintage hats, corsets, and shoes. Imagine, the lace-up boots! They were absolutely heavenly, all while being encased in my magical time-traveling tutu! You're getting the picture now, my dears!

Let's not forget the ultimate souvenir - a vintage pair of pink ballet shoes from a charming antique shop that smelled of rose petals and whispers of the past. 🩰 Now, those I can truly appreciate.

As always, my little time machine has a few quirks. This time, my darling, my journey through history took me on a wild goose chase. It took three hours just to find a phone to make a call! 😱 Honestly, sometimes these old phones can make life feel a bit more “antique” than I’m prepared for!

And speaking of life in 1993, a lot was different then! The fashions, the hair styles, the way we used technology (yes, there was technology!), everything. You have to admire how they found a way to make it all so fabulous. You know what they say: “What goes around comes around.” Just look at those crop tops from the ‘90s, darling.

And with the month of May upon us, my loves, let's give thanks for May Day. As always, it is the perfect occasion for dancing in our pink tutus, especially when a whole nation is celebrating the joy of spring! 💐🌷🌸
