I've twirled and time travelled all over the world this month, and what a journey it's been! From the glittering drag scene of New York to the stunning ballet of Moscow, there's always something glamorous to discover. And let me tell you, 2002 had its fair share of fabulous!
NYC, darling, NYC! A must for any time-traveling fashionista. It was here in May 2002 that I saw a fabulous performance at Club Kids in the East Village! The queens were fierce, the music was pumping, and the energy was electrifying! Honestly, the show reminded me so much of the amazing Kiki Ballroom scene I experienced a couple of years before - all that fierce style, glamour, and that unique feeling of community - such a beautiful sight.
Onward to Moscow! What's a girl to do after a night at Club Kids but pack her magical pink tutu and jump in the time machine? Next stop - Moscow! Oh my darling, I saw the Bolshoi Ballet perform 'Giselle'. Just the sheer grace and athleticism of the ballerinas had my inner fashionista screaming! All those dazzling costumes! Pure inspiration, and oh-so elegant! My own pink tutu definitely felt right at home amongst the grandeur and ballet fashion!

As always, I found the best way to blend into 2002 (and every other year, darling!) was with my trusted pink tutu! I wore it to that glorious Club Kids show, I took it with me to Moscow for the Ballet performance, I wore it in London at a glamorous tea party at The Ritz, and even on the streets of Tokyo while shopping for dazzling vintage kimono designs!
