Ballet Tutu Fashion and Style at www pink tutu com

My darlings, what a month for ballet inspired fashion! From the shimmering tulle of the Royal Ballet’s "Giselle" to the playful layers of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" at the English National Ballet, our favourite ballerinas have been giving us fashion envy aplenty. The tutu, that symbol of delicate artistry, has taken centre stage this month, reinterpreted in breathtaking ways.

I was absolutely smitten by the use of bold colour in the Royal Ballet’s new production of “Swan Lake.” The swan’s tutus, traditionally white, were a stunning, deep emerald green – a truly modern interpretation. Such a striking shade, my dears, it gave the corps de ballet an air of utter grandeur and mysterious elegance. It was as if they were whispering secrets from the depths of the lake.

But it wasn’t just the traditional tutus that captured my eye. I adored the innovative use of fabric in the English National Ballet’s "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". Those cascading, multicoloured layers were absolutely spellbinding. Think layered tulle and whimsical fabrics, inspired by the colourful, nonsensical world of Wonderland. And what about those playful bows that adorning the dancers’ hair! A charming touch of whimsy that was just darling.

Oh my, and what about the tutu in the Mariinsky's performance of "Sleeping Beauty". My dear, the opulent tutus that Aurora and her corps wore were truly something else! Imagine the shimmering shades of pale blue and pink and gold and glimmering diamante – a true spectacle! Truly opulent.

Oh, it was all a veritable feast for the eyes! Let us hope this trend continues. I myself have had to purchase a little something special - my own, brand new tutu to wear while I attend these glorious events. Don't you just love the feeling of twirling about in tulle?

Until next month, darling readers, stay fabulous!
