Oh my darlings, what a month for fashion! September brought us some truly divine creations, each one a masterpiece of fabric and movement.
Firstly, letās talk about the **tutus**, shall we? Oh, the tutus! The Royal Balletās Swan Lake was simply exquisite. We saw the most delightful combination of classic white, billowing to the heavens like the clouds themselves, and those gorgeous black tutus - so sleek and wickedly sharp! They reminded me of a stormy night sky, filled with dramatic tension. Every pliĆ© and jetĆ© looked a thousand times more glamorous.
And who can forget the glorious colour explosion at the English National Balletās Giselle? We were treated to the most dazzling array of lilac, lavender, and a dash of electric blue. The way the tutus flowed and rippled as the dancers pirouetted was a sheer delight.
Speaking of delight, I was simply swept away by the modern, flowing style of the new ballet company, āEmergence.ā The tutus, far from traditional, were more like flowing gowns in silk, with hints of tulle for that airy, ethereal feel. Itās exciting to see such daring reinterpretations of the traditional form.
Itās been a month for strong and feminine silhouettes. For those of us who adore a bit of glamour and a touch of magic, this ballet season has been simply divine. Keep those fabulous fabrics flowing!
