I've been flitting between continents like a well-coiffed hummingbird, and let me tell you, there's been enough exquisite artistry to leave even the most seasoned aficionado gasping for air (in a chic, obviously not gasping-for-breath-while-wearing-a-fancy-gown kind of way, of course!).
Moscow: A Romantic Rendezvous with Bolshoi
I simply adore the Bolshoi. They're like the grande dame of ballet, forever elegant, utterly captivating, and boasting an air of timeless allure. This month, they dazzled audiences with a breathtaking rendition of **"Giselle"**. Svetlana Zakharova as Giselle, was a revelation, so ethereal, her performance like a dream woven with moonlight and whispered secrets. Vladislav Lantratov as Albrecht, her dashing love interest, danced with such virile grace, every gesture speaking volumes. Together they conjured a captivating narrative of passion, betrayal, and ultimately, love that transcends death.
I couldn't resist a trip to the Bolshoi’s elegant and opulent costume and props workshops - I'm simply enthralled by the craftsmanship!
