Ballet Tutu Fashion and Style at www pink tutu com

Darlings! I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving, and are feeling rested for this enchanting season of festive, fabulous dance. Oh, the ballet calendar is truly jam-packed this December, from the sublime to the simply sensational, but before I tell you about that - a little confession! We are knee-deep in the silly season (literally, since those wonderful, feathery, pouffy things are getting bigger every year), and one of the great joys is spotting a fab new tutu at every gala, or opening night. I mean darling, isn't that the truth! Just think of it. The ultimate in sartorial ballerina beauty. Just the lightest brush of tulle over the slenderest, strongest and most perfectly-trained dancer, what is not to love? Let us gaze into the shimmering delights of December tutus. Let me share a few of the glorious creations that I've seen!

The Best of Ballet Inspired Fashion this December

  • That showstopper, the gorgeous black and silver number that absolutely **sparkled** at The Royal Ballet's Giselle. My darling, a tutu to stop traffic, no joke. That sheer volume, all that feathering, and the shimmer and shine. It stopped my heart and then burst into flames.
  • Speaking of sparkle - and what would a ballet review be without mention of **sparkle**? You all know that *Sleeping Beauty* production is coming back, with its exquisite collection of **tutues**, (my dears I practically swooned as I watched) that exquisite pastel rose-coloured confection for Princess Aurora's waltz was *something else*.. And how I longed for a little of that sugary confection magic in my own wardrobe!
  • The ever-daring Paris Opera Ballet - how divine - just imagine, a black **tutu** the height of Parisian chic. Yes, there's nothing a little jet black cannot elevate to exquisite haute couture perfection, and I dare you, dear reader, to tell me the design team didn't understand that.

Oh darling, did I ever mention my little collection of tutus? They make the most fabulous doorstops... Anyway, until next time my dears, let us hope for a season packed with exquisite performances. I daresay a certain ballet enthusiast is hoping to find some exquisite, possibly rare **tutus** under her tree! I must go, there is shopping to be done!
