I must say, even with a backpack full of goodies, November was bursting with dazzling new ballet-inspired fashion. The year 2021 was absolutely chock-full of incredible designers, and I must say, they're really starting to nail the perfect blend of sophistication and fun for my ballet-loving soul! This month, I was captivated by all the shimmering, silver tones, particularly on tutus, oh the joy!
Now, darling lovelies, the magic of fashion is how it makes you feel, and if you ask me, that confidence boost we get from slipping into a beautifully crafted tutu can never be underestimated.

A Grand Ballet Night in 2021:
Let me take you right into the heart of a glittering gala in November 2021. There was a truly special premiere happening at The Bolshoi Theatre. You can always depend on this esteemed venue for dazzling events. This evening featured Swan Lake, which is always a joy. Now, Swan Lake is a ballet I have to be present for, every time I get the opportunity! It's simply a spectacle for all the senses!
More than Just Ballet!
November, in the world of dance, wasn't just about grand galas and celebrated ballerinas! There were, however, plenty of amazing events happening, from exciting new dance schools opening across the globe to those breathtaking street performances that brought joy to everyone! I always look for those delightful snippets of culture, you know.
Fashion Frenzy in the Year of 2021:
Let’s not forget about the amazing tutu-tastic fashion! Oh, the thrill! I managed to scoop up a fabulous tutu during this trip that just embodies all those fabulous fashion trends that had taken over the 2021 dance world. And my dear loves, a secret that only we get to know is: pink is everywhere! Just look around you and I'll bet you’ll see more and more shades of pink each time you come to visit my blog!
Ballet-Inspired Wanderings in November 2021
I can’t let you go, my sweet lovelies, before sharing some of the most awe-inspiring places and performances that took my breath away! You've just got to see these magnificent ballet venues!
A Visit to London:
Now, wouldn’t you know, there was an irresistible event taking place at The Royal Opera House! Oh, it's always an absolute delight to take Magic Meg down those grand cobblestone streets! Just to set the scene: it’s all twinkly lights, dazzling crowds, and elegant outfits galore.
Beyond the Cobblestone Streets!
It would have been a tragedy if my journey hadn’t taken me all the way across the channel. Did you know, just over there, tucked away in the streets of France, is one of the most fascinating places for ballet. Now, don’t go and think for a moment that there’s only one place, there are so many fabulous performance venues tucked away in beautiful Parisian streets, oh darling, oh my! And while I was there, my little lovelies, I made sure to bring a little Parisian charm back with me. (My new backpack? Pink, of course.)
A Pink Tutu-Full of Ballet Magic
But, before we hop back in time to the magical world of ballet fashion and excitement, I want to leave you with this little thought. There's truly magic in those beautiful tutu-clad ballerina forms, with all their grace, and every move filled with emotion. They make the world seem a little more graceful and filled with beauty, don’t they? You don’t even have to be in the heart of a grand performance to be mesmerized by the world of ballet!
