Hello darling dears, and welcome back to my little corner of the internet! It’s your favourite pink-loving ballerina blogger, Emma, and today we’re going on another fabulous journey through time! As you all know, my trusty steed, the magnificent, sparkly, pink Shire horse, Magic Meg, and I are always on the lookout for amazing ballet adventures, and April 2025 has been a particularly exciting month for this little ballerina. I mean, who could resist the lure of discovering a whole new world of ballet in the past?!
This month, my darling dears, we’ve travelled to the fascinating year of 2025! Just think of all the thrilling possibilities! We're talking ballet in all its glory - dazzling costumes, iconic dances, and captivating performances. It’s a treat for all our senses, and of course, I couldn't miss out on wearing my most glorious pink tutu for this occasion, darling dears! My lovely pink tutu is, after all, my signature style. Let me tell you, it always attracts the right sort of attention, and brings so much joy wherever we go, whether it’s in a bustling marketplace in 17th century Paris, or the backstage of a glittering London theatre in the 1800s!
So, to begin our time travelling adventures, darling dears, we embarked on our journey with a visit to the Royal Opera House, one of the most prestigious and historic opera and ballet venues in the world. Oh, to be whisked away by the grandeur and majesty of the place! You could almost hear the echoes of past glories ringing in your ears. Imagine, my dears, seeing a glimpse of all the legendary dancers who’d graced the stage before you - like Anna Pavlova, Margot Fonteyn, Rudolf Nureyev… My heart always beats faster just thinking about their incredible talent and artistry!
Now, let’s talk ballet on April 2025! Sadly, I haven’t been able to find a detailed record of specific ballets or shows taking place on this particular date. It's often hard to get such precise information for events that happened years ago! But let’s not let this dampen our excitement! You know me, darling dears! Even without a specific program, the joy of imagining those captivating dancers on stage makes my soul sing! Imagine the soaring leaps, the fluid movements, and the sheer grace and elegance that must have graced the stage! My mind's eye can easily paint the picture of that glorious sight, darling dears, and the energy and passion just ooze from it!
Just like I love delving into ballet’s fascinating past, I adore immersing myself in the world of ballet today. With the world being such a dynamic and ever-changing place, ballet today is as exciting as ever, blending classic forms with innovative choreography and even exploring exciting new interpretations of traditional works. Who knew a dance could be so powerful?

I’m a very determined ballerina with big dreams, and a very special talent: I have the most exquisite time-travelling horse who has the most wonderful, shimmering pink coat, and the most amazing gold hooves – her mane is almost white – it shines in the light, like a little sparkly halo. Just seeing Magic Meg makes me so happy, because she represents everything I love: beauty, wonder, and a touch of magic.
As for me, well, darling dears, I’m still just a little pink tutu wearing, time travelling ballerina, and that's the way I like to be! My love of pink tutus? It just means I can make everyone happy! There is no such thing as too much pink. I just know that somewhere in the future, or the past, there is the perfect, sparkling, dazzlingly pink tutu that will be the icing on my cake – my absolute favourite!
