This month, dear readers, Magic Meg, my darling pink-sparkling Shire horse, and I are venturing into the distant yet exciting world of July 2038. Can you believe it? 2038! I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it, I can feel the incredible ballet history we're about to uncover.

Of course, no journey is complete without a chic, sparkling pink tutu, right? It wouldn’t be a Pink-Tutu.com adventure without a dash of our signature colour! So I'm stepping out in my most whimsical tutu this time - it's a masterpiece with layers and layers of soft, frothy pink tulle, adorned with delicate sequined butterflies, the perfect reflection of the magic we’re about to experience.

Now, to make this journey possible, my dear followers, I've been busy giving some magnificent ballet performances - imagine, tutus, soaring leaps, and the sweetest pirouettes! The applause echoes in my heart still, each cheer fuelling my time-travel escapades. After all, without those magical ballet moments, Magic Meg wouldn’t have the power to carry us back in time!

Oh my dear friends, the ballet scene in 2038 is truly blooming like a rose garden in the summer sun! There’s a delightful sense of excitement buzzing around the world - a glorious feeling of dance being truly celebrated. Imagine:

• Royal Ballet in Bloom: The Royal Ballet in London, dear to my heart since childhood, is experiencing a resurgence in popularity. They've launched a magnificent summer programme full of new, innovative works! Apparently, a young choreographer from Derbyshire (yes, my very own county!) named Lily Evans is causing quite the stir with her debut piece, "Dandelion Wishes." Oh, I must try and find out more about her, she's got talent just like me!
• International Ballet Festival in Paris: In the heart of Paris, the world’s top ballerinas are gathering for the grand International Ballet Festival! This spectacular event promises an extraordinary celebration of the art of ballet, with everything from traditional masterpieces to avant-garde performances. Imagine the fashion! The exquisite tutus! And the stories swirling in the air!
• Rising Stars: It’s exciting to see the world celebrating the next generation of ballet superstars! A talented young ballerina from Japan called Sakura is being lauded for her ethereal performance in a stunning interpretation of Swan Lake. Her elegance and strength remind me so much of myself!

This isn’t even scratching the surface! There’s a flourishing ballet scene in America, where the Ballet Theatre in New York is staging an electrifying, contemporary ballet by a renowned Argentinian choreographer. And in Australia, a unique immersive ballet experience called “Forest Symphony” is using technology to blend dance with the breathtaking natural landscapes of the outback. Oh, what an incredible, beautiful and daring mix of the modern and the timeless!

And speaking of timelessness, the story of ballet is truly fascinating, a tapestry of evolution, change, and timeless grace! This time journey is already teaching me so much!

As I stroll through the bustling theatre corridors of London and Paris, it's almost like the air itself vibrates with the music and passion of dance! But it's not all about the grand stage shows - in 2038, the ballet community thrives on more than just performances! There's a thriving ballet market too. And just look at this incredible piece!

Imagine my delight when I discovered this delightful vintage pink ballet costume at the vintage market in Paris! I swear I felt a little skip in my heart - it's made of silk, just a tad frayed and worn with love - with the most delicate embroidered roses that I just know would pair wonderfully with a vintage tiara. The charming ballerina I purchased it from had so much to share - she used to be a soloist! We sat, sipping French tea, as she told me tales of the golden era of dance. She had so much grace, and wisdom! Just look at the story these worn threads tell!

I am always in awe of the stories the ballet community shares and it’s such a joy to see this tradition thriving in 2038!
