Pink Tutu Blog London: #182 – Friday, 25th February, 2000 – London Calling!

Hello lovelies! It's Emma here, back from my Derbyshire digs and ready to paint the town pink – or should I say, tutu-fied?! This Friday, I'm channeling my inner Londoner and embracing all the city's fabulously fabulousness! As usual, I'm travelling in style – nothing less than a first-class ticket for this pink tutu-clad princess. After all, darling, even the journey itself needs to be a fashion statement!

Today's London escapade is all about exploring! My darling tutus will be making an appearance at some of the most iconic spots in this magnificent metropolis. From Buckingham Palace to the glorious National Gallery, it's going to be a day of art, architecture, and, of course, a dash of pink.

I'm armed with my trusty pink travel guide and a to-do list as long as my ballet shoes. We'll be visiting the Houses of Parliament – so much history! Then, it's onto the London Eye for a bird's-eye view of the city – a bit like watching a giant stage set from above. My favourite part of London though, has to be the West End. Can't beat a fantastic theatre show, especially with a bit of glitter and good ol' fashioned dancing. Today, the legendary 'Miss Saigon' is gracing the stage – a classic!

But let's be real, London's a shopper's paradise. This city is overflowing with everything from quirky vintage treasures to high-fashion masterpieces. I'm aiming to add a few pieces to my wardrobe (and yes, my tutu collection will definitely be growing!). Oxford Street calls to me like a siren’s song, and don't even get me started on the designer boutiques. Maybe I’ll find that perfect, silky-soft, rose-hued scarf… Oh, how a girl can dream!

And because no London day is complete without a bit of culinary magic, we'll be sampling some of the city's delicious treats. I hear the new crepe stall in Covent Garden is making waves with its raspberry-filled creations. Oh my, darling, I'm so excited! I'm going to find that spot pronto – it's a crepe-tacular destination!

Oh, and did I mention the Ballet? Of course, my London adventure wouldn't be complete without a spot of pirouettes and plies! There's a lovely little ballet studio near Covent Garden that offers a lunchtime class – perfect for getting my tutu twirling to the right beat! I just can't resist those fancy footwork moves – the elegance, the grace… my soul feels truly alive. It's all about balance and flow, both on stage and off.

Remember, my lovelies, the point is to embrace life with a little flair! Be fearless in your pursuit of joy, don't be afraid to express your inner fabulousness – let your inner tutu shine, whether it's through a beautiful dress or simply a dash of bright pink lipstick. Life's too short for dullness. Let’s make London even brighter with a little sparkle and a lot of love!

Until next Friday, stay gorgeous!
