Hey lovely readers, it’s Emma from Derbyshire, your friendly neighbourhood tutu-wearing ballerina, back with another exciting instalment of the Pink Tutu Blog! This week, I’ve taken a rather grand trip – all the way to London! I love the big smoke, all that bustling energy, the gorgeous buildings, and of course, the amazing fashion! This weekend, I’m immersing myself in London's cultural scene, soaking up all the inspiration the city has to offer, and maybe squeezing in a bit of ballet, because let's be honest, you can never have too much dance, right? 😉
Now, as you all know, I fund my adventures through my beloved ballet. I've been working on some wonderful performances recently, and I'm proud to say that the rewards for my hard work have allowed me to experience the magic of London again. Speaking of magic, the train journey itself was an absolute dream. Nothing beats the satisfying rhythm of the train tracks and the thrill of travelling to a new destination. This time, the sun was streaming through the window, creating a magical aura on the surrounding fields. And you know I can't resist taking photos! Anyway, after that lovely journey, I arrived in the heart of London, all ready to take on the city. First things first, a proper English afternoon tea was absolutely in order! The quintessential, fancy cakes, sandwiches, and endless cups of tea. Truly an English treat! Afterwards, I indulged in a spot of shopping - and let me tell you, I found some absolutely divine pieces in the vintage stores. London always delivers when it comes to unique and charming clothes, which is perfect for me! After all, who better to find a delightful pink tutu for my collection than your own friendly tutu blogger?
And speaking of delightful things, have you heard about the performance happening this very evening, on this most delightful of Fridays, June 22nd, 2007? You can’t possibly miss "The Nutcracker"! Oh, the grace and beauty! If you find yourself in London and looking for an evening of exquisite dance and wonder, this performance is not to be missed!
