#PinkTutuBlogLondon: Friday 2013-05-24 - A Pink Tutu in London Town! 🩰

Hello my lovelies! It’s Friday, the sun is shining, and I'm here in glorious London town, tutu twirling and feeling absolutely fabulous! This week has been a whirlwind of ballet, fashion, and, of course, tutus! Let me tell you, my darling readers, I’m not just here for the usual sightseeing. Nope, I’ve come to London on a mission. To bring the pink tutu revolution to the heart of England! 👑

This week's journey started bright and early, train ride straight from Derbyshire, with my trusty pink backpack overflowing with tulle and excitement. You know the feeling, the buzz of the big city already getting under your skin, that anticipation, just itching for a delicious London adventure. My journey up was smooth, filled with the delightful chattering of fellow commuters, and I managed to squeeze in some last minute choreography for my upcoming performance. 🤫

And speaking of ballet, what a week! The Royal Opera House hosted a breathtaking production of "Swan Lake" that just blew me away. From the beautiful choreography to the stunning costumes, everything about it was perfection. But don't worry, darling readers, you won’t be deprived of all the glitzy details! A full ballet review, with tutu rating, of course, is coming your way soon on www.pink-tutu.com. So, keep an eye out for my next blog post, and you’ll know what’s worth watching (and dancing) to! 🩰✨

After the ballet, I was all set for some London retail therapy, and I had my eye on a certain pink fluffy sweater that I had to have. Can you guess what colour my new coat was, darlings? Oh, you already know! 💅 But I'm not gonna spoil it, gotta keep some excitement for the pictures! But let's just say it was pink, and it made my heart sing like a chorus line.

Of course, a trip to London wouldn’t be complete without a good old-fashioned afternoon tea, right? Fancy teacups, delicate finger sandwiches, and scones slathered in clotted cream – the whole shebang. This time, I went to the Ritz! Now, darling readers, don’t be fooled by all that grandeur, I was wearing a full pink tutu and absolutely owning it! 🤣 I must say, it gave the rest of the tea guests a real "what’s the story morning glory?" moment. Let me tell you, a pink tutu can spice up any event. 😉

As evening fell over London, I found myself heading for the Globe Theatre. I can't get enough of the classics, Shakespeare's words bring a special magic to the world. And tonight? Well, we're talking Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” with an added dash of sparkle! Now, imagine Juliet in a pink tutu – divine, isn't it? Maybe next year! 😜 This was a particularly enchanting performance with vibrant acting and such passion in their every move! And the scenery – truly magnificent. I was captivated.

But darling readers, let's be honest, what is London without its fabulous street performances? After the play, I decided to wander through Covent Garden to soak in the atmosphere and stumbled upon a street magician doing amazing feats right in front of a packed crowd. Then I was lucky enough to bump into a local dance group putting on an amazing Bollywood-inspired dance! My feet started twitching instantly – I had to dance! So there I was, in my pink tutu, shimmying and shaking with a big smile on my face. (Don't worry, no videos of my moves, they weren’t as polished as a professional’s, haha!) 😄 But the joy it brought, oh darling readers, I could not stop beaming all night. It was contagious, and for a while, Covent Garden was dancing to the rhythm of happiness.

Oh, my dears, London's a whirlwind of magic, isn’t it? From Shakespearean tragedies to the thrill of a pink tutu street dance – what an experience! Every day in London is a grand adventure, and today I saw some of the city's most stunning sights and met some incredible people, each sharing their own unique stories and smiles.

But remember my dears, the mission is far from over! The Pink Tutu Revolution marches on, and I hope to have inspired some of you lovely readers to spread the message: Embrace the pink! Embrace the tutu! Be fearless, be confident, and wear your pink with pride! 💕

As I bid farewell to another London adventure, I leave you with a thought for the week – It’s never too late to dance to your own rhythm, and to twirl with joy, whatever life throws at you. Stay fabulous, darlings, and keep dancing your heart out!

See you all next Friday! 😘
