Hello lovelies! 💖 It's Friday, the 17th of April 2015, and Emma's back with a brand new blog post - number 972, can you believe it? - from the heart of London! I'm practically bouncing with excitement. Just imagine: the bustling streets, the vibrant atmosphere, the amazing fashion… I can hardly contain myself! I hopped on the train from my lovely Derbyshire home earlier today and I’m so excited about the adventure that awaits me in London town!
A Dream in Pink (and Grey!)
Right now, I’m comfortably ensconced in a chic little hotel in Notting Hill. The moment I walked through the door, I knew I was going to be in heaven! It's oh-so-adorable, full of quirky charm and those wonderful, warm tones you always find in a home that's truly loved. Oh, and did I mention it’s all done in the most exquisite shades of blush pink and grey, my favourite combination ever?
A Railway Adventure
The train journey itself was a pure delight! There's something so charming about watching the scenery whiz past - green fields, little villages, quaint towns. All in a blur of movement, as if you were one of those twirling ballerinas you see in those old movies! The carriage itself was full of people, everyone looking like they were off on some exciting adventure, much like me! It’s like every single train carriage transforms into a mini stage. I felt like I was heading for a wonderful performance, the journey itself full of drama, humour and unexpected twists.
A Day in London Town!
Now, here’s the plan, darlings! First things first, I'm heading off to soak up the atmosphere in Covent Garden. There's just something so captivating about it, the street performers, the amazing stalls, the energy... I can practically hear the music in the air. It’s the perfect spot to start my adventure. Next up, it’s off to a delightful show - "The Bodyguard". Can you imagine? My favourite Whitney Houston songs performed live? I just can’t wait! You can tell I’m super excited. Oh, I also hear they have an incredible ballerina sequence. Could it get any more perfect for me?!
Fashion, Fabulousness, and Fancy Things!
No visit to London is complete without a little shopping spree, now is it? After the show, I’m planning to spend some precious time in Harrods! My, my, that Harrods. Imagine… It's a pink princess’s paradise – dazzling displays, stunning jewels, the most gorgeous clothes – it's simply breathtaking! If there’s anywhere in London to wear a pink tutu it has to be there. It is where I'll find the perfect pink outfit for my Covent Garden exploration tomorrow, I just know it!
The Ballet in My Heart!
And guess what? You can never be too far from ballet when you're in London. I’m planning on heading to a ballet class tonight! It’s not just about the moves, it’s about the joy of the experience, being part of this wonderful community. I can’t wait to see all the lovely people and hear them talk about their passions.
