#PinkTutuBlogLondon - Friday 2016-09-23 - Tutu-tastic Time in the Capital!
Hello my darling dears! It's Emma here, and welcome back to Pink-Tutu.com! It's Friday, and you know what that means? It's time for another #PinkTutuBlogLondon! ๐ฉฐ๐ This week's adventure? A whirlwind trip to London, a city that truly does make my tutu twirl! This is blog post number 1047, and this one is extra special, because I'm actually writing to you straight from a cafe, surrounded by the buzzing energy of London! โ
Let's rewind to the beginning of this tutu-tastic journey... It started with a delightful trip by train! Oh, how I do love a train ride! The chugging of the engine, the view rushing by, the perfect excuse to slip into a comfy pair of flats and get my reading on! This week's reading material? A classic! The Nutcracker - the perfect ballet inspiration for a fabulous trip to London. You see, my lovely friends, I fund my travel adventures through my love of ballet! Dancing my heart out in the magical world of the stage lets me chase my dreams, explore the world, and inspire everyone to embrace their own inner tutu-wearing ballerina! โจ
As I stepped off the train in London (oh, that feeling of being surrounded by endless possibilities, divine!), I already felt the creative energy swirling around me. My schedule today is a beautiful ballet of culture, shopping, and of course, more dancing! ๐ I can't resist a good dose of inspiration while I'm in London! My fashion heart was already pounding for the latest trends at the gorgeous department stores!
I began my journey with a delightful little detour to Covent Garden. It's truly a spectacle of Covent Garden, the heart of London theatre, you know! The bustling market was just brimming with delights, colourful fruits and veggies, crafts that dazzled my eyes, and the most charming little shops that are perfectly made for me. I spent hours (I may have even lost track of time, whoops! ), browsing everything from beautiful jewellery to handcrafted handbags, even finding a few cute little ballet shoes for my dance bag! ๐ฉฐ If you're looking for something a bit more artistic in Covent Garden, look no further than the Royal Opera House! Imagine, I've got tickets to see a breathtaking production of "The Magic Flute!" I am over the moon, as they say in Derbyshire!
Of course, no trip to London would be complete without indulging my sweet tooth. What better way to treat myself after a morning of wandering than a scrumptious slice of cake and a pot of tea? * It felt incredibly regal, *and who can resist a good cup of English tea, darling? Honestly, if London were a cup of tea, it would be a blend of floral and spice, with a hint of something deliciously unknown. ๐
The rest of my day is filled with the magic of London theatre. First, it's off to the West End to see the smash-hit musical, Matilda. Do I even need to explain the allure? A young girl with incredible talent? Yes, please! And if there's a theatre show about young people with dreams, there's no better place to be than London. After that, it's a scampering dash to The Sadler's Wells Theatre! I'm dying to see the stunning Rambert Dance Company. You just never know what incredible surprises are in store, they are brilliant, inspiring dancers I adore the creativity they bring to the stage!
Speaking of dancing, I have to confess something, darlings,...I may have also snuck in a ballet class at the fabulous Royal Academy of Dance earlier! Nothing beats the feeling of getting those tutus swirling and my body feeling alive and full of grace and elegance! I'm practically glowing with pure, unadulterated joy as I type this!
The best part of London? You really can be anyone you want to be! Want to be an artsy explorer? Done! Want to be a vintage fashionista? Done! Want to be a tutu-wearing ballerina? Oh, absolutely! That's the thing I love most about my London escapades... It lets me indulge my inner tutu-wearing ballerina and be myself completely! Every corner is an opportunity for wonder, a new story to unfold in this dazzling city.
You know what? I feel the urge to do a little bit of impromptu dance! London, with your cobbled streets and charming cafes, your captivating theatre scene and incredible museums, your vibrant markets and vintage shops, you truly inspire me!
What are some of your London highlights? Tell me your favourite spots! And please, darling if you love ballet, please come dance with me! Together, we can get everyone to embrace their own inner tutu-wearing ballerina! ๐ฉฐ๐ ๐
Until next Friday,
Emma

PS - Want to know what else I'm excited for? Well, the weather here is absolutely delightful, even in September! It's crisp and bright, the kind of day you can simply *dance your way through!* The days may be getting shorter, but I simply refuse to let the shorter days dim my bright pink glow! ๐
PPS - I'm actually writing this blog post from a charming little cafe, sipping on a delicious latte, watching the charming street scene unfold before me! You really can't beat London!
