Pink Tutu Blog London: #1075 - London Calling! 🩰👑

Hello, my darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad ballerina, Emma, back with another exciting London escapade! 🇬🇧 I’m back in the capital after a lovely trip to Derbyshire to see my family, but you know I always get that "London Calling" feeling… the excitement, the energy, the fabulous fashion, it’s addictive!

I've got to be honest, I LOVE taking the train into London! 🚆 There’s something so magical about watching the countryside fly past, and then the skyscrapers start to emerge. It really makes me feel like I'm entering a different world! Plus, I can wear my favourite pink tutu, of course. 🎀 This time, I opted for a dreamy pale pink tutu with a little sprinkle of iridescent glitter. ✨ Perfect for making the journey glamorous.

The day began in the most fabulous way possible: ballet class at the Royal Opera House! 💃 I absolutely adore dancing in that historic building, surrounded by the history of countless amazing performers. It always gives me a surge of inspiration! 🩰 Plus, I got to chat with a couple of dancers who are performing in "Swan Lake" this weekend. How exciting! 😍

Of course, after class, there was only one place I wanted to be: The Royal Opera House shop! 🛍️ It’s pure retail heaven for any ballet enthusiast. You guys already know my love of the “Giselle” dress (that gorgeous cream and floral print, just heavenly!) and I almost bought it for the third time, but then I thought, “Emma, you have one already.” I know I'm not alone, some things just scream, "Buy me!" 💖

Next, I decided to take a stroll through Covent Garden, because you can never get enough of that vibrant energy. 🤩 It’s where I saw my first street performer when I was just a little girl, dressed in my first pink tutu! 🩰 (Those memories!) Today, Covent Garden was bustling, so much music and creativity swirling around, the smell of fresh flowers everywhere - truly the best way to experience London!

For lunch, I headed to Sketch, my favourite spot for a spot of elegant tea and delicious cakes. ✨ Their gallery spaces are always so unique and artistic, and the food… just divine! 💖 It’s the perfect place to fuel up for an afternoon of exploration!

And, I wouldn't be a true London visitor without taking in a show! 🤩 I was thrilled to snag last-minute tickets for the legendary "Phantom of the Opera" - a show I've been dying to see for years! 🎭 Oh my goodness! It was absolutely incredible! 💥 I found myself transported to another world, swept away by the music, the costumes, and the pure drama of it all.

I'm already making plans to return next week, to catch “Wicked” at the Apollo Victoria Theatre - I’ve heard it’s amazing! 🧙‍♀️ And after that, it's time to see "Mamma Mia" again, it's been a year since my last visit and my love for ABBA only grows! 🕺💃

London never disappoints! It’s a city full of life, culture, fashion, and, most importantly, a chance to find your own pink tutu moment. 💖 It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of London life, but it’s all the better with a touch of pink tutu magic! 🎀

See you next Friday, darlings! 💋
