#PinkTutuBlogLondon - Post 1249: A London Daydream in Pink (and a Tutu, Naturally!) 🩰✨

Hello lovelies! 👋 Emma here, your resident pink tutu enthusiast, and it’s Friday – which means it’s time for another #PinkTutuBlogLondon!

I’ve been bursting with excitement all week because, guess what? I’m in LONDON! 🤩

My train journey up from Derbyshire was absolutely magical. The views whizzed past the window, painting a picture of rolling green fields and charming little villages. And as the city skyline gradually appeared, my heart just skipped a beat – it never gets old! 💖

It’s been a while since I was last in London, but it feels like coming home. The vibrant energy of the streets, the constant chatter, the aroma of street food... everything just seems to pulsate with a sense of life that's completely addictive!

Now, I’ve been planning this trip for weeks – meticulously crafting my London itinerary to fit in all my favourite things: ballet, shopping, and of course, plenty of time to soak up the London vibes.

Speaking of vibes, the highlight of today has to be the Royal Opera House. It was breathtaking! 😍 I can’t believe I haven’t seen a ballet there before. I was absolutely mesmerised by the intricate choreography and the sheer artistry of the performance. Seeing dancers gracefully pirouette on that iconic stage in their magnificent costumes was simply incredible! And, let's not forget the beautiful lighting and set designs – truly magical! 💖✨

My favourite part? A solo where the prima ballerina wore a pink tutu that looked like it was woven from stardust! It reminded me a little bit of Cinderella's fairy godmother… but a little bit more badass. 😜

Fashion Finds! 🛍️

After the show, I treated myself to a well-deserved shopping spree – my mission? To find the perfect new tutu for my next London adventure! London is a fashionista’s paradise, with everything from vintage shops filled with unique treasures to high-end boutiques brimming with designer labels.

But my favourite find wasn’t on Oxford Street or Bond Street. It was hidden away in a small, independent shop tucked away in a cobbled side street, tucked away amongst the vintage clothing.

The shopkeeper, a charming gentleman named Alistair, told me he's been in the business for years and knew exactly how to pick the right tutu for me. He called it “the perfect pink tutu.” And he wasn't wrong. I don’t know what magic he worked, but it was exactly what I was looking for – whimsical and elegant, yet utterly glamorous! 💖💖

Speaking of magic… guess what's happening in London tomorrow? The Notting Hill Carnival! I’m planning on grabbing my pink tutu (obviously!) and joining in the feast of colour, music, and excitement. I'm so excited!

It's so wonderful to be surrounded by so many diverse cultures and experiencing such a colourful explosion of joy and music. I have a feeling it's going to be a real whirlwind!

Stay Tuned for More! 💖

So, my lovelies, I'm so glad I'm able to share this incredible experience with you. Follow me on #PinkTutuBlogLondon for the next installment of my adventures – I promise you won't be disappointed.

Keep dreaming, keep twirling, and keep shining! 💖

Until next week,

Emma xo
