It's Friday again, and guess what? I'm back in London! The excitement is already bubbling over. This time, I caught the train from Derbyshire - the beautiful, rolling hills of Derbyshire couldn't hold me back from the glittering promise of a London adventure! 🚄✨
A Ballet-fuelled Journey
Just like my tutu, my love for London is always twirling around in my heart. 💫 But this trip is a bit special. I had a chance to perform a few pieces at a lovely charity event in Derby, and let me tell you, the energy was electric! Those dancing shoes brought me enough cash to fund this glorious trip. Honestly, it just goes to show that a passion for ballet can literally take you places! 💖
Pink Tutu Arriving in London!
The journey on the train was just delightful. There's something so romantic about travelling through the English countryside, especially when you're wearing a pretty pink tutu. 🌸 It feels like stepping out of a classic fairytale. I actually bumped into a couple of sweet ladies who were on their way to the Royal Opera House - wouldn't you know it, they even commented on my tutu! I told them about my blog, and even snagged their email address! It's a small world, and spreading the pink tutu love just keeps getting easier and easier. 😊
The Big Pink Adventure Begins
Okay, let's talk about London! My favourite place in the whole world. Where should I begin? Well, let's dive straight in, shall we?
First stop was Buckingham Palace. Oh, how I love it there! Those red, brick walls and the elegant architecture make me feel like I'm in a dream. Today was a beautiful day with a lovely spring breeze, and the sky was clear blue - the perfect backdrop for a perfectly pink tutu! 👑
Now, we all know I adore fashion and you know what? This weekend is going to be a whirlwind of shopping! My first target? Oxford Street! The excitement is already building. I just have to pick out some stunning new items. 👗👠✨
Speaking of London and fashion, let's not forget Covent Garden. What a magical place! Today I had a delightful time wandering through its charming streets, admiring all the independent stores, and soaking in the artistic vibes. It's one of my favourite places to get a feel for London's creative spirit! 🎭🎨
Afternoon Tea with a Tutu Twist
Oh, London! You can't come to London without an afternoon tea. So I treated myself to a glorious afternoon tea at The Savoy, a hotel known for its elegance. 🍰☕️
They brought out dainty sandwiches, warm scones with jam and clotted cream, and oh, the most divine cakes and pastries - it was a total dream. It was simply divine to indulge in such decadent treats while admiring the beautiful surroundings.
An Evening of Theatre Magic
You know me and my love for theatre! Tonight, I'm heading to the National Theatre, ready to witness another magical performance! I'm totally giddy to be surrounded by fellow theatre enthusiasts and all the theatrical energy. Tonight's show promises to be captivating, a real feast for the eyes and ears. I'll be sure to share my thoughts in my next blog post! 🎭

- Shakespeare's Globe is alive and well - This is a gem, not just for theatre but for historical interest too. There's even a special family day this weekend!
- Greenwich Mean Time is being celebrated in all its glory - history buffs and science fans should make a trip! It's a chance to learn about the origins of timekeeping!
