Hey darlings! It's Emma here, your resident pink tutu enthusiast, ready to take you on another adventure! This week, I'm buzzing with excitement as I've swapped my Derbyshire hills for the vibrant streets of London. Yes, you read that right, my lovelies! This weekend, I'm a London girl, and it's a dream come true!
As always, I journeyed by train, the rhythm of the tracks putting me in the mood for a spectacular weekend of dance, fashion, and fun. I can't think of a better way to start a London adventure than with the romantic whoosh of a train journey, don't you think? It's the perfect opportunity to catch up on some reading (yes, I always pack a book!), admire the English countryside flitting past, and imagine the dazzling sights that await me in the big smoke.
And let's be honest, darling, who could resist a good pink tutu with a railway view?! This little number is perfect for my trip, the tulle so beautifully soft it tickles my toes like the gentle sway of the train, and it certainly turned heads at the station!
London's Calling!
Arriving in London, I immediately felt a buzz of energy coursing through me. London's always bursting with life - street performers, tourists, locals rushing to work, and the iconic black cabs weaving through the streets like dancers on a crowded stage. I've never met a city with so much energy, and honestly, that's just the way I like it!
First stop? My favourite pink haven, Liberty London! I swear, this store is pure magic. I could lose myself for hours wandering through the beautiful fabrics, the exquisite floral patterns, the intricate lace, and those dreamy silk dresses! There are enough layers of ruffles and textures to make any tutu-loving ballerina squeal with delight! You know me, darling, it wouldn't be a trip to London without a new pink dress, right? (and of course, a little treat for the tutu collection!)
The Theatre of Dreams
A trip to London wouldn't be complete without a theatrical experience, would it? This Friday, I'm treating myself to "Swan Lake" at the Royal Opera House. You know how much I adore a classic ballet, and nothing beats a stunning performance of "Swan Lake" under the chandeliers of the Royal Opera House. Those swirling tutus, those heart-wrenching melodies, that tragic love story... I just can't get enough of it! And maybe, just maybe, if I'm really lucky, I'll be able to sneak in a bit of dancing in the foyer beforehand – gotta keep those dance skills sharp, you know?
Foodie Delights and Pink Dreams
After the performance, it's time to satisfy those post-ballet cravings. A visit to my favourite Parisian-inspired bakery in Covent Garden is a must, and let's face it, a pink macaron always sets the tone for the rest of the evening! I simply can't resist their delightful pink creations - perfect for a picture, perfect for a tastebud treat, and they make my heart sing as they always remind me of the beauty of my favourite color.
And just so you know, darling, it's a "tutu-tastic" Friday in London! Look out for an Instagram live feed tonight – I’m planning to wander through the bustling Covent Garden market, so come say hello, if you can find me in my pink tutu!

Tomorrow, Saturday, I'll be venturing to Covent Garden and South Kensington! Think a ballet lesson at the Pineapple Dance Studios – where else could I find a tutu-tastic ballet class right in the heart of London? Then, a trip to Harrods, for more of that London glitz and glamour, followed by afternoon tea. Maybe, if I'm feeling particularly inspired, I'll treat myself to a dress from the new designer label, “London Calling,” you know, something perfectly pink to make heads turn in Hyde Park later!
