Ciao from sunny Milan! ☀️ This week's post marks the beginning of a fabulous, fashion-filled adventure in the Italian capital of style! As you all know, I've always been a huge fan of Italy's chic flair, so it was only a matter of time before I made the pilgrimage to the City of Fashion! 💖
And, of course, no trip to Milan is complete without a stunning pink tutu! I've chosen a delicate, pale pink one this time, with tiers of tulle and a shimmering silver belt. It sparkles in the sunshine, just like the city itself. 💫
I flew in this morning, arriving just in time to see the majestic Duomo – it really is just as majestic as the photos promise! ✨ Afterwards, I took a lovely tram ride through the city centre – such a beautiful way to see all the bustling streets and quaint corners.
The tram took me straight to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a beautiful, glass-covered arcade with shops showcasing the finest Italian craftsmanship. It felt like I was stepping into a scene from a film – luxurious shops, gleaming marble floors, and the most gorgeous displays of Italian shoes, handbags and of course, fabulous clothing! 👠👛👗
My first shopping stop, naturally, was the Gucci boutique. Oh my goodness, the shoes! 👠💖 A million shades of pink and every style imaginable, from strappy sandals to dainty ballerina pumps – pure bliss! I just had to treat myself to a pair, though I'm struggling to pick a favourite... decisions, decisions! 🤔
This evening, I'm going to a Ballet show at the Teatro alla Scala. It's famous for its incredible productions and I'm SO excited to see what's in store. I’m thinking it might be a perfect opportunity to show off my new Gucci heels with a flowing, feminine ballet dress, or maybe even a dramatic silk evening gown – it just depends on how I’m feeling. 😊

I’ve picked up some adorable accessories that perfectly capture Milan’s playful fashion vibes. I’ve fallen for a sparkling silver bow brooch and some bright pink floral earrings. Tomorrow I’m heading to the Leonardo da Vinci National Science and Technology Museum. I hear there are some fabulous displays of scientific inventions and artworks, as well as beautiful, inspiring interiors. It sounds absolutely fascinating. I’m going to wear a simple, classic black ballet dress – chic and elegant yet perfect for an afternoon of cultural immersion. 🎨💡
