Buongiorno, my darlings! It's Emma here, bringing you all the latest from the vibrant and fashion-forward city of Milan, Italy! I'm feeling utterly smitten with this gorgeous metropolis - the cobblestone streets, the delicious smells wafting from cafes, and of course, the divine fashion scene.

This week, I'm channeling a real Milanese vibe. Think crisp white shirts, tailored jackets, and naturally my favourite touch of pink! After all, what's a Pink Tutu blogger in Milan without a dash of that glorious hue, right?

Monday was all about getting my bearings. I hopped on the tram, which is like a delightful little train with an open top for gazing at the cityscape! And let me tell you, Milan is a city to behold! Beautiful buildings, bustling streets, and so many elegant boutiques. My little heart almost burst!

I spent the morning strolling down Via della Spiga, which was literally a dream come true for any fashion-lover. Think Gucci, Valentino, and all the other couture houses you could imagine. I tried on some shoes that could easily have belonged to a princess (with a few pink embellishments added of course!)

My day culminated at Teatro alla Scala. Oh, darling, the architecture alone will leave you speechless. Such incredible details, it really takes your breath away! I even snagged a ticket to see a ballet later this week, so keep your eyes peeled for that blog post.

Tuesday was all about treating myself to some Milanese delicacies. After a yummy breakfast of fresh pastries (a tradition I've swiftly embraced!), I took a stroll through Porta Ticinese for some shopping. I came across this delightful little store overflowing with vintage tutus. Yes, you heard right! Vintage tutus! They had some stunningly intricate ones - some even with delicate pink silk ribbon embroidery. It was almost too much for my tutu-loving heart to handle.

I bought a charming little tulle-trimmed purse for my travels, as you know a proper Pink Tutu enthusiast needs all the necessary accessories!

Later, I found myself at Pasticceria Marchesi indulging in one of their heavenly pastries. It was all the encouragement I needed to take a leisurely afternoon dance class at Studio danza in Via Solferino. Oh, what a beautiful studio! Light, airy, and full of wonderful dancers from all over the world. I absolutely loved it, feeling so invigorated and inspired!

Today is the day I'm writing this blog post! I am sitting on a beautiful terrace cafe in Piazza dei Mercanti, soaking up the vibrant energy of this magnificent city.

Today was all about exploring the heart of Milan. My day began with a delicious cappuccini at Caffe Cova in Via Montenapoleone, then a trip to Duomo, which is like something out of a fairy tale. You must see it to believe its sheer beauty! After a tour through its fascinating history, I even climbed to the top of the Duomo's dome for stunning views of the city. I found a fantastic view point, popped out my pink tutu, and struck a few poses! The tourists surrounding me were absolutely fascinated by my unique ensemble!

The best thing about Milan, though, is its hidden treasures. Wandering down backstreets, I stumbled upon the most delightful shops filled with art, pottery, and all sorts of other hidden treasures. I even found the perfect little pink trinket for my Nana back in Derbyshire! I know she's going to be absolutely delighted!

Tomorrow is Thursday and I'm heading to Brera, Milan's art district. This area is filled with art galleries, designer boutiques, and fabulous restaurants. My best friend, Sophie, recommended this area for the exquisite brunch. You know how much I love a great brunch, darling!

This evening I have the pleasure of seeing a ballet performance at Teatro alla Scala - it's going to be simply divine! I've already prepped my Pink Tutu outfit - a flowing skirt and a dainty tulle top. Can't wait to add a touch of Pink Tutu glamour to the theater. I may even throw in a pink flower in my hair. Friday will be dedicated to a delightful afternoon of shopping. I hear Milan's markets are a treasure trove of beautiful clothes, accessories, and even pink tutus - how utterly fabulous, isn't it? After all, a good shopping session in a city as chic as Milan is an essential!

I will likely start my day with a pink-hued cappuccino at a cafe along the Via della Spiga (yes, you could say I'm obsessed!) This city never stops surprising me with its gorgeous coffee shops and delightful treats! And if I find anything truly magnifique in the shops, I will be sure to show you all on my next Instagram story!

Saturday, well, I'm planning a bit of a ballet-themed extravaganza. I am planning to have a bit of a "pink-tutu photoshoot" around Milan! The most picturesque streets, hidden squares, and breathtaking architectural wonders provide the perfect backdrops for pink tutu photography. Think me twirling with the Duomo in the background or catching a tram, surrounded by beautiful milanese scenery - a true pink tutu dream come true.

And of course, I won't leave this wonderful city without treating myself to a delicious Italian meal! Pasta, pizza, wine, and tiramisu, oh my! My tastebuds are absolutely dancing at the thought of it all!

Finally, on Sunday, I'm savouring the last moments of my Milan adventures! I'm planning a slow start with a leisurely brunch and some delightful browsing through Milan's unique shops for some souvenirs, because no visit to Milan is complete without taking a little piece of Italy home with me, isn't it? I always love picking up trinkets that remind me of all the amazing experiences I've had, I'm looking forward to having something beautiful and pink to bring home, of course!
