Ciao, darlings! Emma here, fresh from another thrilling adventure in the heart of Milan. It's Wednesday, and that means another weekly dose of all things Pink Tutu, straight from the fashion capital of Italy.
As I always say, life is simply too short to wear anything other than a pink tutu, so today I'm rocking a dazzlingly bright shade that practically glows. It's my signature look, darling, and believe me, it turns heads. Everywhere. In this beautiful city, that's quite a feat, considering the impeccable style of Milanese fashionistas!
Today's journey took me by tram, one of my favourite modes of transport. It's so much fun whizzing through the city streets, soaking up the sights, sounds, and atmosphere of this magnificent place. I even saw a group of kids chanting "Pink Tutu! Pink Tutu!" You see, my message is getting out there.
I know I've mentioned it before, but Milan really is the Mecca of Fashion, with fabulous shops and boutiques galore. Today, I treated myself to a pair of sparkly pink ballet shoes. How can one possibly resist? And of course, a new tutu! I couldn't leave the city without a new one to add to my growing collection. This one's a delicate, shimmering pink with the most adorable tulle layers, simply divine!
After all that shopping, I needed a dose of culture, so I made my way to the iconic Teatro alla Scala, Milan's grand opera house. Tonight's performance was a classical ballet production of "Giselle". I just adore this ballet - it's so romantic, and I love the tragic love story. Of course, I always manage to fit in a bit of ballet dancing myself. After all, the thrill of dancing a pas de deux in a busy city centre is simply unmatched! I even convinced a charming Italian gentleman to join in for a spin - we caused quite a stir, but the look on his face told me he enjoyed it too.
After a delightful evening of ballet and culture, I couldn't resist a cheeky gelato before heading back to my Airbnb. I've settled on a little apartment right by the Duomo, it's just a short stroll from all the best restaurants, shops and attractions. It’s perfect for capturing all the fabulous photos for my blog!
As I tucked into my ice cream, I was pondering the incredible beauty and vibrancy of this city. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like anything is possible, and I definitely believe it's the perfect spot for unleashing your inner Pink Tutu girl.

This week's post in particular is special because this is Milan's Fashion Week, and the streets are literally overflowing with the most exquisite designers, models, and celebrities. And you know me, I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll be mingling with the fashion crowd, scouting the latest trends, and of course, trying to inspire some fabulous people to join the Pink Tutu revolution.
My trip to Milan wouldn't be complete without visiting some of my favourite fashion icons. On Friday, I'm heading to the Gucci flagship store to catch a glimpse of Alessandro Michele's latest creations, a man who embodies the daring and eclectic style of the Pink Tutu movement. And then it’s on to the Prada showroom where Miuccia Prada’s iconic designs are simply breathtaking. I’m dreaming of a little Prada dress for my next blog post… who knows, maybe I can get my hands on something exclusive for my little Pink Tutu fashion collection!
But for now, I'm just soaking up the atmosphere and trying to catch all the exciting Fashion Week events! There are fashion shows, parades, art installations, and of course, some absolutely amazing shopping to be done! I can’t wait to share all the incredible style and inspiration with you all.
