First up, the Aldridge Dance Academy has gone all out with their new summer classes. Think bright colours, fresh themes, and the joy of movement under the warm sunshine! They’ve got everything from lyrical classes to hip hop, and even a sprinkle of ballet for our littlest dancers. Honestly, it’s a feast for the senses, with classes that look as beautiful as they sound.
Tutus Under the Sun:
Now, who doesn’t love a ballet picnic? The Aldridge Ballet Festival is bringing back its ‘Ballet in the Park’ event this year, with performances, picnics, and all the summery goodness we could wish for. I’m already planning my pink picnic blanket and my best pastel tutu! You can bet I’ll be posting those gorgeous pics for all to see, so watch this space.

If musicals are your jam, then Aldridge Theatre’s summer season is about to steal your heart. From classic tunes to brand new scores, they've got something to thrill everyone. I've got my eye on their new production of ‘Singin’ in the Rain’, and rumour has it they’re pulling out all the stops with incredible dance numbers and a truly sparkling finale!

You can never have too many tutus, am I right? So, I’m delighted to hear that the new dance shop, ‘Tutus & Tiaras’, has opened in the town centre. From vibrant practice wear to gorgeous pointe shoes, they’ve got it all. Plus, they’ve got some stunning, super stylish tutus for that perfect photo shoot!
Sharing the Love:
Let's not forget about sharing the ballet love with others! The Aldridge Ballet Society has announced their summer fundraiser, ‘A Dance For a Cause’. This exciting event features a mix of ballet performances and live music, all in aid of local charities. Get your tickets now, ladies!
