First things first, let’s talk about the Bilston Ballet School's Summer Showcase, happening at the end of July! ✨ You know I'm all about those exquisite tutus, and this year's show is no exception. Think dreamy summery tones, fluttering silks, and maybe even a touch of glitter! 💫 The young dancers have been working tirelessly under the tutelage of Mrs. Patel, a legend in the world of Bilston ballet, and they’re ready to knock your socks off, literally. I’ll be there with bells on (or rather, a sparkly pink ribbon, just to be different!), snapping photos of those amazing moves and sharing all the deets with you lovelies on my blog!
Speaking of tutus, my dears… I've got a hot tip for any aspiring ballerina (or just those who love the glamorous look!): Tututique, the newest dancewear shop in town, is a complete game-changer! 🤩 They have EVERYTHING from sleek leotards to heavenly tulle creations. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, the lovely Clara, who told me all about her dream of creating a haven for dancers of all levels and styles. They've even got some gorgeous summer-themed accessories, like adorable pink floral hair ties and shimmering toe shoe ribbons. You absolutely must pop by!
Of course, summer is all about outdoor adventures, and guess what? Our local park is hosting a series of Free Outdoor Ballet Classes every Saturday morning throughout July! 🌳 ☀️ Perfect for letting your hair down, embracing the fresh air, and getting your pointe shoes (or just bare feet!) in touch with the earth. The classes cater to all levels, from total beginners to seasoned pros, so there's something for everyone. And the best part? It's a fantastic way to experience ballet without breaking the bank! 🎉
Now, I know some of you may be feeling like a bit of a ‘summer slump’ – the end of term exams are over, it's hot outside, and the thought of hitting the studio seems less appealing. Well, I'm here to tell you, KEEP THOSE TOES TAPPED! 💖 The Bilston Community Theatre is offering a special summer program, "Dance through the Seasons", designed to inspire and energize your dancing. Think funky contemporary routines, lively Latin numbers, and maybe even a splash of ballroom for those of you who fancy a touch of sophistication. It’s all about keeping your dance soul ignited through those long, warm summer days!
