Summer's in full swing and, just like the blooming flowers, the ballet scene is flourishing with a beautiful array of classes, workshops, and performances. Buckle up, because it's going to be a dazzling season of tutu-tastic delights! ✨
First, the #TutuNews you all are waiting for: the ballet studio re-opened!
My go-to spot, The Dance Academy on Main Street, has come back to life in a flurry of pink. (Think rose quartz, blush pink, a touch of bubblegum – just my kinda palette.) The renovated space feels light and airy, with even more room for pirouettes and sissone jumps! The grand opening was a real hoot, with bubbly for the mums and dads and a sneak peek at the exciting new summer program.

New this season are "Ballet Bootcamp" – a power-packed series of workshops to tighten up those tendu techniques, and "Ballet After Dark," which promises to be a fabulously fun way to learn a choreographed routine in an energetic and relaxed setting.
Speaking of energy and fun, Bulwell's got some truly amazing events happening.
First off, the annual Midsummer Ball, a whimsical soirée at the Bulwell Pavilion featuring local ballet students from the Dance Academy performing an enchanting rendition of "The Swan Lake". (Picture glittering gowns, sparkling tutus, and those dramatic Swan Queen entrances.)
