We all love a beautiful, new leotard to dance in. This summer, let's celebrate everything pink. I've been scoping out the dancewear shops around town and let me tell you, there's some seriously fabulous stuff in stock. For all my petite ballerinas, "Dance Divas" has got you covered with their "Berry Bliss" collection. You know me, I’m obsessed with sparkles, and they have the most incredible holographic pink leotard that would make even the most seasoned ballerina gasp in delight!
Don't Forget the Perfect Pointe Shoes!
I've always found pointe shoe shopping to be a deeply personal experience. It's like finding the perfect pair of stilettos - they must be just right! Luckily, there's a new pointe shoe brand making waves in Dunstable – "Silky Steps". Their new "Celestial Rose" pointe shoe combines the support of traditional techniques with a gorgeous rose-gold finish. Of course, no summer ballet news would be complete without mentioning our local performance! The Dunstable Arts Centre is hosting "Swan Lake Under the Stars" this August. This classic ballet comes to life under the summer night sky, and you can bet I'll be there, dressed in a stunning pink chiffon dress, enjoying every graceful turn and dramatic jump.
Time for a Masterclass
If you want to improve your own technique and learn from the pros, look no further than "Dunstable Ballet School". This July they are hosting a special Summer Masterclass with acclaimed ballerina, Annabelle Rose. Annabelle is known for her incredible fluidity and elegant movement, so I bet her tips are going to be invaluable!
