First up, we have a real treat coming to the Ellesmere Port Civic Hall in July – “Pinkalicious: The Ballet!” This adorable show is perfect for little ones (and those of us who still secretly love a touch of pink 😉) with a magical story and stunning choreography. I’ve been keeping a keen eye on the sneak peeks, and let’s just say the tutus are something! You won’t want to miss this dazzling spectacle – it’s sure to be a real summer highlight for everyone, from the tiniest ballerina-in-training to the biggest ballet buff.

Speaking of ballet buffs, there's some amazing opportunity for local dancers to brush up on their skills this summer! The Ellesmere Port Summer School is back, bigger and brighter than ever, and running a range of workshops for all levels. I’m particularly excited about their ‘Tutus & Tanlines’ class! Who wouldn’t want to work on their technique while getting some Vitamin D and working on that enviable summer glow? Plus, the chance to bond with other dancers and celebrate all things ballet… I mean, it’s literally perfection.

While the big ballet news may be elsewhere, there’s incredible talent brewing right here in Ellesmere Port. I had the chance to catch the annual Ellesmere Port Ballet Festival a few weeks back, and wow, was I impressed! The level of artistry, dedication, and passion was off the charts. We have some serious future ballerinas in the making, and you can bet I'll be keeping a close eye on them!

The Ellesmere Port Ballet Society is making a comeback after the summer break, and they're not holding back!
