You know I always keep my eyes peeled for new leotards, and the shop is positively overflowing with gorgeous, shimmery dancewear perfect for the warm summer months. Imagine, my darlings, a flowing pale pink tutu with delicate embroidery, or a leotard with sparkling sequins that catches the sunlight as you stretch! I can practically hear the whispers of admiration from the audience already!
Speaking of The Ballet Centre, they're launching a new adult beginner class just in time for summer! Let's be honest, there's no better feeling than discovering something new, particularly when it comes to dance! So grab a friend, unleash your inner swan, and experience the magic of ballet under the expert guidance of the amazing teachers at The Ballet Centre. Who knows? Maybe you’ll be the next Misty Copeland!
Meanwhile, down the road, Fulham Dance Studio is bursting at the seams with summer activities. From exciting choreography workshops inspired by iconic ballets to 'Summer at the Barre' - a gorgeous outdoor ballet class held in a stunning secret garden (I'm not revealing the location yet - keep those ears peeled for whispers on the grapevine!) – it's the perfect opportunity to learn, explore, and celebrate dance in the sunshine!
Of course, it wouldn’t be summer in Fulham without The Royal Opera House coming to town! They're bringing a spectacular production of ‘Giselle’ to the Queen's Theatre – my favourite tragic romance! I'm already planning my outfit (think a floor-length gown in a gorgeous blush pink shade) and stocking up on pink Prosecco for the interval.
And finally, if you're looking for a summer treat, you simply have to visit Fulham's hidden gem - the Rose Garden . I'm dreaming of capturing some breathtaking shots for my Instagram there – the blooming roses, the dappled sunlight, and myself looking effortlessly graceful, dressed in my favourite ballet-inspired summer frock.
