There's a brand new dance school in town, and it’s bursting with vibrant colour and energy. It's located right in the heart of Hayes, and the founder, Sarah, is a passionate and experienced teacher who brings an inspiring flair to the ballet studio. Their emphasis on fun and creative expression really resonates with me! I'm thinking of signing up myself – they have an amazing beginner class focused on graceful movement, which sounds right up my alley.
3. The Hayes Ballet Festival: A Celebration of Dance!
Hayes is putting its best foot forward with an exciting new ballet festival coming in August! The "Hayes Ballet Festival" is showcasing the talents of local dance studios, including contemporary, jazz, and, of course, ballet. 5. Behind the Scenes: Catching up with Hayes’ Premier Dance Instructor!
This summer, I had the opportunity to sit down with Mrs. Smith, Hayes’ very own ballet legend, She’s been running her acclaimed dance school, “Graceful Steps”, for over 20 years, training many of Hayes’ dancers (including some of my closest friends!)! It was truly inspirational listening to her passion for dance and her commitment to nurturing young talent. We chatted about the future of dance in Hayes and she spoke about her dream of building a larger ballet studio in the town for the community. I’m certain that Mrs. Smith’s unwavering enthusiasm will continue to inspire future generations of dancers in Hayes for many years to come!
