Forget boring, ordinary dance classes – we’re all about whimsical and fun this summer, and there's no better place to indulge your inner ballerina than Islington. Think graceful arabesques under the Islington sky, glistening sweat amidst pink-hued studios, and oh-so-stylish ballet brunches. Buckle up, ladies, because the #tutunews is bursting at the seams.
Pink is definitely in!
Our little corner of London is awash with fabulous pink-hued dancewear. Remember how obsessed we were with Suki’s new collection? Those dusty rose leotards? The shimmering pink tutus?! I was living in them!
Speaking of tutus, Dance Atelier just released their Summer Bloom Collection, and lemme tell you – they are a total dream. Fluffy tutus in the most breathtaking pastels and intricate flower motifs? It’s a fashion fairytale, my darlings.
Stepping Out and Into the Spotlight
It’s not just about fashion, though – the stage is also booming with exciting new opportunities! The Islington Youth Ballet has been selected to perform at the London Dance Festival – how amazing is that?! The young dancers are going to wow everyone with their Swan Lake choreography – and they deserve every bit of the hype!

Who needs another brunch when you can have a ballerina brunch?! It’s all about elegance and deliciousness (and maybe some tutu gossip?) at the new ‘Swan Lake Café’ at Islington’s Market Theatre. From their signature pink latte (which, of course, I sampled with my friend Amelia and, oh-la-la, it’s the perfect photo-op) to their stunning selection of sweet treats, every detail is designed to fuel your inner ballerina – both your stomach and your fashion sense!
