You know I'm always on the hunt for the cutest ballet studios, and this summer, The Dance Academy in Kendal is absolutely rocking it. They’ve launched a brand-new “Summer Ballerina” program for aspiring little dancers, focusing on technique and, of course, all the fun summery choreography. I’m already eyeing their “Butterfly Ballet” class. Just imagine, tiny ballerinas twirling and leaping around like delicate butterflies! I'm sure they're already practising their best butterfly wing movements.

Mark your calendars! Kendal’s annual Festival of Dance is back this August with a dazzling lineup! Think international performers, thrilling contemporary works, and, you guessed it, a chance to see a ballet under the stars! I’m definitely putting on my most dramatic, pink tutu for the Gala Night, which features guest artists from the Royal Ballet – pure ballet magic!

This is HUGE, tutu-loving friends! The Royal Ballet School will be holding a special summer workshop at the Kendal College Performing Arts Centre in July! I’m planning to snag a ticket to watch these incredible young talents rehearse, maybe even grab a cheeky selfie with one of the dancers… a girl can dream! I can almost smell the magic in the air – there’s no better time to catch ballet at its most raw and captivating!
