Imagine it: graceful dancers, breathtaking choreography, and the beautiful backdrop of Loughborough’s very own lake – complete with shimmering reflections and fluttering swans. It’s going to be picture-perfect, darling! 🦢
Think ethereal tutus in pale pinks and dreamy light blues, shimmering under the setting sun, and the soft sounds of a live orchestra filling the air. 🎻 There are three dazzling performances planned – each showcasing different styles and stories, and I’m seriously tempted to bring a picnic basket and make a whole evening of it! 🧺

It’s not all about performance, darling! The Loughborough Ballet Centre are running a fab workshop series designed for everyone from seasoned professionals to aspiring dancers. There’s ‘Turn and Burn,’ designed to sharpen technique, a fun ‘Summer Stretch’ class for keeping those ballet muscles flexible, and ‘Master the Moves,’ aimed at teaching you those super intricate tricks I just love to watch on stage. ✨
I’m definitely signing myself up for ‘Master the Moves’ - I’ve always wanted to nail those elegant, super high 'à la seconde' jumps! 🩰
Tutu Fashion Fiesta!
Who says you need to leave the tutus at the studio, lovelies? The Pink Ribbon – Loughborough’s go-to spot for all things pretty and feminine – are launching a gorgeous range of ballet-inspired summer pieces! We’re talking about chic summer dresses that evoke the romanticism of a classic tutu, floral prints in those oh-so-pretty pastel hues, and the most darling ballerina flats! 💖
And guess what? They’re holding a special fashion event in August, with models rocking their newest collection – all to the music of a live piano performance. 🎹
