Hey beautiful ballet babes! It's your girl Emma, back with the latest from the dazzling world of dance in Paisley. Summer is here, and so is a whole new crop of enchanting performances, workshops, and even a splash of… well, pink, obviously! 💖

Now, let's face it, a ballet season without a beautiful new tutu just isn't complete. And trust me, the Paisley Ballet Company haven't let us down. The shimmering new costumes they've whipped up for their summer production of "Swan Lake" are simply divine. Imagine a sea of swans in shimmering white tulle, with accents of crystal-like embroidery – just divine! It’s not just the main swans we’re talking about either; the corps de ballet have been blessed with a truly dreamy selection of outfits that look just gorgeous in motion.

Speaking of “Swan Lake”, you simply cannot miss it! The new director's vision for this classic is something else - full of power, drama and romance. You’ll be entranced! The entire company is looking absolutely incredible and the choreography is simply phenomenal. Tickets are flying off the shelves faster than you can say “en pointe” so don’t miss out, babes. Make a note – this is a must-see!

But “Swan Lake” isn’t the only summer treat Paisley’s got in store. The town's biggest ballet school, “Dance Academy”, is hosting a brilliant summer program with a dazzling variety of workshops – even some special ones focusing on technique and repertoire for newcomers ! It’s perfect for dancers of all levels - from those just taking their first steps to those already dancing en pointe. Plus, they have some super cool guest teachers lining up who are big names in the ballet world – I’m not gonna spill the beans now but trust me - you’ll want to get booked on as soon as possible ! And yes, I’ve already signed myself up! The more the merrier in this incredible community.

And speaking of communities… don’t miss out on the brand new "Ballet & Brunch" initiative at “The Cafe”. Every Saturday morning, you can drop in for a ballet class, followed by a luxurious tea and scones session with the other attendees. It's all about having a good time and bonding over our love of ballet. Think adorable outfits and stylish pink tablecloths – pure #TutuGoals! It’s also the perfect excuse to get your hands on a fabulous, brand new dance outfit… Just saying 😉!

It’s the absolute hottest boutique in the area for dance gear. Not only are the clothes and accessories on-point, but they have a fab team of girls who are genuinely knowledgeable and passionate. Seriously – go check them out! They also have the cutest range of ballet inspired gifts - I may or may not have been indulging myself in some adorable pink-tastic tutu-inspired tote bags... Whoops!

The thing that I really love about Paisley, though, is its sense of community and the real dedication they have for all forms of dance.
