Their programme for July is filled with classics. The Bolshoi Ballet graces the stage with a spellbinding rendition of Swan Lake, a truly captivating performance you won't want to miss. They’re followed by the renowned Royal Ballet of London, presenting their electrifying interpretation of The Sleeping Beauty. Talk about a summer ballet double-whammy!
Now, let's head to the Opéra Bastille! July and August will be packed with performances from the Paris Opera Ballet, and it looks absolutely sensational. They are showcasing their newly revamped production of Giselle with costumes that have everyone whispering. It's a captivating take on the classic story, beautifully choreographed, and an excellent example of the innovation we’re seeing within the company. I hear there’s even a rumour of a pink-themed pas de deux, which is totally my jam!

Let’s talk fashion! Oh darling, I’ve just got to tell you about this amazing exhibition at the Musée de la Mode! They’ve curated a fabulous retrospective showcasing the iconic costumes of the Paris Opera Ballet. It’s an absolute feast for the eyes, with everything from lavish tutus to innovative designs – it’s all so incredibly beautiful and perfectly encapsulates the history of ballet costumes in all their grandeur! And of course, a visit wouldn't be complete without me grabbing some pink-hued ballet-inspired goodies! This year's colour is the most beautiful dusty pink, and I just had to add a new pair of ballet slippers, with that exact shade, to my collection!
