Let's start with the news everyone's been waiting for - the Prestwich Ballet Summer Festival is just around the corner! 🤩 Held every year at the beautiful Prestwich Arts Centre (seriously, you HAVE to check out the chandeliers!), this festival brings together the very best of local talent. We’re talking breathtaking performances from Prestwich Dance Academy's little ones, all the way up to the stunning professional company, "Dance Étoile" – you’ll be on the edge of your seat, I promise you!
Speaking of “Dance Étoile”, I’ve been lucky enough to chat with their artistic director, Chloe Sinclair. Chloe told me that this year’s festival has some amazing surprises in store! Get ready for "Giselle" with a twist (I’m not allowed to spoil it! whispers It’s a fabulous twist), a showcase of some new contemporary pieces, and even a special family performance that’s absolutely guaranteed to leave the kiddos (and the grown-ups) in awe! 💖

Well, this year's Festival Gala is all about fashion – think sparkling tutus, dazzling tiaras (they’re even making a comeback this season!), and breathtaking costumes inspired by this summer's most vibrant fashion trends! Speaking of ensembles, my lovelies! I've got to spill the beans about the NEW ballet-inspired clothing line at "Prima Ballerina" boutique on Long Street! The library will be showcasing some wonderful ballet books for adults and children, and local ballerina Esme Walker will give a heartfelt reading from one of her favorites! This sounds like a fantastic way to relax and get swept away by the magical world of dance! 📚📖
