As a seasoned dancer myself, I'm thrilled to announce the arrival of the 'Dancers Delight' boutique right here in Sutton. It's a veritable wonderland for ballet enthusiasts! Forget those dreary, generic ballet supply stores, Dancers Delight is where the real magic happens. Their team knows all the top brands, they even helped me find the perfect pointe shoes that make my feet sing. Plus, they have an amazing selection of cute ballet bags - trust me, I had to get the pink one with the little tutu charm!
Sparkling Summer Workshops
Don't you just love a summer workshop? There's a real buzz in the air this year with the new 'Summer Soiree' workshops hosted by the Sutton Ballet School. These are tailor-made for young budding ballerinas and they cover everything from ballet basics to a fun exploration of pointe work, all delivered by amazing teachers in a beautiful, welcoming space. The 'Summer Soiree' workshops even incorporate creative activities, including making your own ballerina crown and designing your perfect ballet bag! Now that's my kind of summer learning!

Let's face it, the Summer Ballet Festival in our local Sutton Park is always a highlight of the season! This year's festival promises to be bigger and more spectacular than ever. The 'Sutton in Bloom' theme is all about vibrant colors and whimsical interpretations of nature's wonders. I'm especially looking forward to the ‘Fairy Bloom’ ballet which, of course, has a beautiful pink and floral tutu design! If you haven’t got your tickets yet, I highly recommend booking them ASAP! They’re flying off the shelves, my dear!

For those seeking a more mature theatrical experience, the Sutton Playhouse is gearing up for its stunning production of 'The Swan Lake' – the classic tale of love, betrayal, and transformation. There's a rumour going around that they've created a dazzling, new costumes with a captivating shimmer that will absolutely take your breath away! Now that's the kind of detail I love.
