Let’s be real, summer wouldn't be the same without a sprinkle of something magical, right? Well, good news, our local ballet scene is bursting with exciting events!
Ballet Under the Stars: ✨🌟
I can already picture it – the soft light of twilight, the rustle of leaves, the air filled with music. Our beloved Walton upon Thames Dance Studio is bringing ballet back to nature with their Ballet Under the Stars series! It's a new open-air initiative where you can soak up the summer night whilst enjoying a showcase of ballet favourites. I'm talking classical masterpieces, contemporary twists, and the ever-popular 'Swan Lake' - expect gorgeous costuming and a little magic sprinkled throughout. It's happening in the gorgeous Rose Garden, perfect for a picnic and some sparkling lemonade!
Workshops that are a Whole Lotta Fun!
For those of you itching to expand your repertoire, the Dance Studio is hosting a brilliant lineup of workshops all summer long! From beginner to advanced levels, there's something for everyone.

Adding to the excitement is a new choreographer who is about to join the Walton upon Thames Dance Studio - welcome, Emily! This talented rising star is bringing a fresh, contemporary vibe to our stage with a whole new take on "Cinderella”. You can already sense that there will be a bit of glitter, a lot of sparkle, and some seriously daring new choreography!

Oh my, we have news! A brand new tutu design from our beloved London supplier, "Swans Down" will be making an appearance on the stage of the Walton upon Thames Dance Studio's grand showcase. Let me just tell you, this is a Tutu that is destined for the red carpet - we’re talking about an explosion of sequins, soft tulle, and the prettiest shade of pink imaginable. I have an exclusive sneak peek – it’s simply magical, a perfect summer fantasy come to life!
