Royal Opera House, Letâs Go!
We all know the Royal Opera House is the place to be for top-notch ballet, and they haven't disappointed this summer. Theyâve pulled out all the stops for their summer program â and trust me, you donât want to miss it!
Firstly, theyâve got the world premiere of The Dream. You can imagine my excitement over this â itâs a brand new adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nightâs Dream, and I just know it's going to be utterly enchanting! They're teasing extravagant costumes and magical scenery, so I'm practically already on cloud nine. âïž
The program isn't just about premieres; theyâve also got the ever-popular Giselle, featuring one of my favourite pas de deux. There's something so romantic about Giselle's story â I just love getting lost in the music and the emotions!
But that's not all, ladies! For you fashionistas out there, youâve gotta check out the âBackstage Fashionâ exhibition. We all love a good costume, and this exhibition delves into the artistry of creating those breathtaking costumes we see onstage. đ The photos alone will have you wishing you could waltz out of a fairytale.

Okay, I know we all love a good ballet performance, but summer's all about experiencing something different. And let me tell you, Westminsterâs got something for everyone!
First up, the London Dance Festival â itâs the event to be seen at if youâre a dance enthusiast! With everything from hip hop to contemporary ballet, this festival celebrates the diversity of the dance world. They've also got some pretty incredible outdoor events, so get ready for a vibrant, fun-filled festival under the summer sun. đ
You're probably wondering what Iâll be wearing, arenât you? đ Well, for the outdoor events, I'm all about my flowy pink maxi dresses paired with some comfortable yet stylish flats. When itâs a bit more formal, my favourite ballet-inspired dress paired with a to-die-for pink clutch is going to be my go-to. Clutching on to my ballet flat for dancing is definitely a bonus! đ©°
Local Flair
Of course, it wouldnât be tutu news without highlighting some local talent. Westminsterâs packed with some brilliant dance schools, each with their own unique style.
