We have drag queens performing heart-stopping numbers, choreographed dance routines that make your head spin, and community groups showcasing the diverse fabric of Blyth.
And what better way to showcase the energy of this event than to bring in a special guest: a fabulous drag queen named "Dolly Devine". Dolly has taken Blyth by storm with her dazzling personality, stunning outfits, and razor-sharp wit. She's literally stolen the show with a spectacular performance that had the entire crowd on its feet. Dolly embodies the true essence of "Tutu Pride" – being fearless, owning your individuality, and having a ton of fun!
You know, the best part about this whole experience? It’s not just about the tutus or the disco tunes. But I haven't even gotten to the best part yet. You see, my friends and I decided to organise a "Tutu Walk" - an evening stroll through Blyth with the most dazzling outfits we could muster! Imagine this: us, in pink tutus (naturally), sparkles, glitter, and everything that screams “Pride!”, twirling around the town square to a fantastic playlist curated just for the occasion.
Now, I won't lie, a few raised eyebrows were to be expected. This was Blyth, after all!
