I'm not talking about some standard rainbow flag wave here, darlings. Nope, this year, I'm embracing the glorious, glorious power of the tutu. And trust me, you haven't seen Bridlington like this before!

Picture it: A blustery seafront, the wind whipping my hair around as I twirl in my favourite, hot pink tulle dream. This isn't just any tutu, mind you. It's the one that brings out the sparkle in my soul and makes me feel invincible. So, what exactly are we doing in Bridlington? This is where things get really fun...
First things first: The Big Tutu Party. 🎉🎊
Picture it: We're not just having a party – we're having a disco party! Think groovy tunes from the 70s, shimmering glitter, and of course, tutues. We're going all out with a night filled with music, laughter, and maybe even a few surprise performances from some talented locals. It's the ultimate night to celebrate Pride, friendship, and a little bit of crazy!
But it's not all about parties. 😉
Throughout June, we're also going to be hosting a range of activities and events, all designed to showcase Bridlington's true diversity and celebrate all that makes our LGBTQ+ community so wonderful. Think workshops, discussions, film screenings, and even a cheeky "Tutu Trivia Night" - perfect for a little lighthearted competition!
This year, I'm especially excited to work with local LGBTQ+ organizations, charities, and businesses. It's important to make Pride about more than just fun, right?
I want to highlight the challenges and issues faced by the community, raise awareness, and create a platform for meaningful conversation and action. We can't ignore the issues, even while we celebrate the joy. It's all about striking a balance, you know?
The biggest takeaway for me is that this isn't about changing who you are.
