2024 June Pride Month in a Pink Tutu in Bromsgrove

Hey there, lovelies! It’s your girl Emma, and let me tell you, things are getting absolutely fabulous in Bromsgrove! This June, our little town is blossoming into a kaleidoscope of joy and acceptance as we celebrate Pride month with all the flair and pizzazz of a Studio 54 dance party! And guess who’s at the centre of it all, sporting the ultimate Pride accessory? You guessed it, your girl in her pinkest, twirliest tutu!

This year, I’m taking my Tutu Tuesdays to a whole new level – ditching the gym and hitting the streets of Bromsgrove to spread a little bit of love and sparkle. Yes, you read that right, darling! I'm going full-on tutu-clad for Pride month! Imagine it: a sea of vibrant colours, sparkly rainbow flags waving in the sunshine, and, at the heart of it all, this pink tutu-loving gal strutting her stuff. It's practically a fairytale, only with a bit more disco-fied glitter!

So why am I going full tutu-tastic for Pride, you ask? Well, darling, let me tell you: there’s no better way to embrace this month than with a little flamboyant fun! We're celebrating inclusivity, acceptance, and the absolute right to be exactly who we are. It's about wearing your heart on your sleeve (and, you know, maybe your tutu too!)! Our local pub, The Bull, is transforming into a Pride-themed haven every weekend this month. Imagine, if you will, the heady mix of live music, flowing cocktails, and impromptu karaoke sessions fueled by the most beautiful rainbows you’ve ever seen! It’s the perfect setting to unleash your inner diva and express yourself in the most fantastic, flamboyant ways. It’s all about embracing the freedom to be ourselves, to celebrate the beautiful tapestry of who we are as individuals, and to shout from the rooftops, "I am proud!"

And Bromsgrove isn't just about parties, my darlings! There’s a plethora of events, workshops, and talks planned throughout the month, focusing on different aspects of LGBTQ+ life. It’s not just about rainbows and glitter, though those are certainly part of the fun – it's about education, empowerment, and raising awareness. We're breaking down barriers, starting conversations, and building a community that embraces everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
