For the past few years, Chingford’s been doing a phenomenal job of embracing diversity. This June is no different – we're bursting with events celebrating our LGBTQ+ friends and families, and it all kicks off with a vibrant Tutu Tuesday right here in the heart of our beautiful little town.

This year, my Tutu Tuesday vibe is all about channeling disco diva vibes! Think shimmering sequins, flowing tulle, and a whole lot of pink (because, let's be real, what’s Pride without a little dose of hot pink?)

As a ballerina at heart, I just can't get enough of twirling in a tutu. There’s a certain freedom that comes with dancing in layers of tulle - a joyous lightness that reflects the spirit of pride and liberation. For me, Tutu Tuesday is all about that – letting my fabulousness shine and spreading a message of love and acceptance.

From learning how to tie the perfect tutu knot to mastering some killer disco moves, we're going to be having a blast exploring our creativity and pushing those confidence limits! You’ll learn everything from sassy struts to powerful ballet moves, all wrapped in a joyous package of self-expression. And trust me, you don’t need to be a ballet prodigy to join in – it’s all about embracing the fun!

Disco Fever Takes Over:

As the sun dips low, we'll transform the Chingford Green into a magical disco haven. Picture vibrant fairy lights, pulsating beats, and an epic dancefloor that screams ‘70s nostalgia.
