June Pride Month in a Pink Tutu in New York

New York City: Tutu Pride! 🩰🏳️‍🌈

Hello everyone! It's Emma here, your favourite pink-loving, tutu-obsessed, disco-dancing blogger. The sun is shining, the air is buzzing with excitement, and the streets of New York City are painted in rainbow colours – it can only mean one thing: Pride Month is here! And, let's be honest, who better to celebrate the magic of self-expression and inclusivity than a tutu-wearing, LGBTQ+ ally like myself? 😉

This year, I’ve decided to do something a bit different. I mean, every year we have parades and protests, which are wonderful and powerful, but this year, I want to inject some fun, a sprinkle of magic, and of course, a healthy dose of Tutu Pride! 🎉

You heard that right, Tutu Pride! I believe that celebrating who we are shouldn't be confined to one style, one look, or one specific day. Every day is a celebration of self, and why not do it in a flamboyant tutu? It's bold, it's joyful, it’s utterly fabulous!

Now, I know some might think it’s a little over-the-top, but honestly, isn’t that the whole point of Pride? It's about being brave enough to embrace our true selves, no matter how bold, flamboyant, or "extra" they may seem.

A Week of Tutu-licious Fun:

To spread some Tutu Pride throughout the month of June, I've put together a series of events, activities, and even a dare I say ittutu-ific workshops! So, whether you're a seasoned tutu veteran or a newbie, come join me on this dazzling journey of self-discovery and fabulousness!

Monday: Tutu Tuesday: A Pink Power Workout:

We kick things off with a high-energy Pink Power Workout! 💥 Imagine a dynamic ballet class where we combine graceful moves with powerful cardio routines, all while sporting the most fabulous pink tutus! You don’t have to be a ballerina – just bring your enthusiasm and your pinkest tutu. The workout will be led by my best friend and fellow tutu enthusiast, Amelia, a seasoned dance instructor with a contagious zest for life.

Where: The Ballroom Studio, a charming dance studio nestled in the heart of Greenwich Village Time: 6 pm What to wear: Your brightest, most fabulous pink tutu, a comfortable sports bra, and comfortable leggings. We’ll provide water and some delicious post-workout pink smoothies!
