Oh my glitter-tastic darlings! June is finally here, and with it comes the sunshine, the rainbows, and the most fabulous month of the year – Pride Month! This year, Nuneaton's going to be dancing its way to inclusivity with a sprinkle of glitter and a whole lotta pink. And who better to be leading the charge than your favourite tutu-wearing, disco-dancing blogger, yours truly, Emma?
So, as we all know, my love for tutus is, shall we say, extensive. But did you know it goes way beyond just twirling around my bedroom in a feather boa? It’s about celebrating individuality, expression, and, well, just having a bloody good time! And what better way to do all that than to strut your stuff in a tutu during Pride Month, right?
Nuneaton's Never Been So Pink
This year, I'm making my annual pilgrimage to Nuneaton Pride – a joyous celebration of love, diversity, and all things LGBTQ+. But hold onto your rainbow flags, because this year is going to be bigger, bolder, and definitely more pink than ever!
It all kicks off on the first day with a special Tutu Parade! Yes, you heard me right. Imagine hundreds of us, all clad in pink, rainbow-embellished, fluffy, sparkly, and simply divine tutus, twirling down the high street with our heads held high. The joy, the colour, the pure unadulterated FUN – it's going to be a sight to behold.
More Than Just Tutus
But the festivities don't stop there! The Nuneaton Pride festival will be bursting with a colourful mix of events, music, workshops, and of course, the incredible LGBTQ+ community.
We’ll have everything from Disco Fever – a non-stop disco party led by none other than myself (get ready to dust off those platforms!) – to a Tutu-Making Workshop where you can create your very own Pride-worthy tutu creation.
Then there's the Love Is Love Marketplace, showcasing local LGBTQ+-owned businesses and handmade crafts. And of course, no Pride celebration would be complete without a powerful Rally for Equality with moving speeches, inspiring performances, and a chance to raise our voices in solidarity.
A Message of Hope & Unity
Honestly, I can't wait! There’s a magic about Nuneaton Pride. It's about creating a space where everyone feels welcome, loved, and celebrated. We’re sending a message: LOVE is for everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or background.
And it’s going to be a message loud and clear – thanks in no small part to the beautiful, bold, and definitely tutu-tastic vibe of the day.
So, join me, darlings, in Nuneaton this June for a whirlwind of fun, glitter, and love! I promise, it will be a day you'll never forget.

Kids Corner – Celebrating Families in All Their Glory! Pride is about embracing families in all their shapes and sizes. We've got a dedicated space packed with fun, games, and activities for children and their loved ones to enjoy. Think rainbow face painting, bubble shows, and crafts that are perfect for budding artists.
LGBTQ+ Activism: Making a Real Difference While we’re celebrating, we’re also taking action! We'll be hosting informative panels and discussions, raising awareness of important issues facing the LGBTQ+ community, and encouraging everyone to become part of the movement for change.
A Food & Drink Fiesta! This is Pride, and that means indulgence! The festival will be buzzing with delicious food stalls, local breweries, and a fully stocked bar. You can enjoy everything from classic comfort food to innovative vegan treats, all with an unforgettable Pride atmosphere.
The Spirit of Pride in Every Corner Honestly, it’s going to be magical! From the vibrant rainbow flags fluttering in the breeze to the welcoming faces of our diverse community, the spirit of Pride will be present in every corner of Nuneaton. We're going to come together, celebrate, and show the world what love, acceptance, and joy really look like!
