It wouldn't be spring without a touch of the ethereal, and let me tell you, The Burnley Ballet School's annual production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is exactly what we need! It’s taking centre stage in the gorgeous setting of Burnley Town Hall, and the anticipation is almost unbearable! This beloved Shakespearean tale gets the whimsical, romantic, and of course, perfectly-pink ballet treatment, featuring enchanting woodland creatures, feuding fairies, and (most importantly) beautiful tutus that could melt even the iciest heart. I can't wait to see how they bring Oberon, Titania, and Puck to life – a total dream cast if you ask me.

As we step into this vibrant spring season, I’m noticing a trend I just adore - a whimsical blend of bold florals and sparkling accents in tutu designs.
The Burnley Dance Academy is embracing the floral trend head-on with their new ballet collection. Think delicate blossom patterns in pastel shades of lilac, rose, and peach - oh, the colours are divine! For the daring dancers, they even have bold fuchsia and cobalt blue tones.
