Get ready to be swept away by a magical wave of dance magic at Chorley Dance Academy! Their spring term is packed with exciting new classes, each designed to help unleash your inner ballerina (or maybe a mischievous fairy!).
Their new "Fairy Fun" class for little ballerinas under five sounds utterly enchanting! Can you imagine? Adorable little tots fluttering across the floor in sparkly tutus, learning the art of ballet while embracing the joy of dance with an extra sprinkle of fairy magic!
The Return of the Swan! 🦢
There’s something rather spectacular in the air for all the adult ballerinas amongst us, and for those who long to be a ballerina (even for a night!), at Chorley's very own community theatre, The Stage Door, "Swan Lake" is set to grace the stage this summer. This legendary ballet is not only an epic love story but a breathtaking journey of artistry and grace. Tickets are sure to be flying out faster than you can say "pirouette," so be sure to get yours before they vanish like a puff of stage smoke!
The Royal Ballet of Chorley is Ready to Bloom! 💐
What could be better than witnessing the blooming talents of young dancers in our local community? That's exactly what's happening at the Chorley Youth Ballet School, they're staging a spectacular springtime production showcasing a medley of delightful choreographies with their students, and it is going to be just beautiful. It’s the perfect way to embrace the joy of dance, the vibrancy of springtime, and the heartwarming talent of our local dancers.
A Dance Under the Cherry Blossoms at Chorley Park🌸
For the #tutunews crew looking to get outdoors, keep your eye out for “Dance in the Park!” at Chorley Park this June! A fantastic chance to celebrate all things ballet outdoors. It's a truly spectacular fusion of graceful dancing against a backdrop of blooming cherry blossoms – what could be more beautiful than that?! This is guaranteed to be an unforgettable event, filled with the magic of movement, the beauty of nature, and of course, a touch of that springy fairy dust!

Want to have a “Behind the Scenes” look at the rehearsals for the annual summer showcase? They’ll be offering some very exciting “Backstage Secrets” events, which will give you a chance to peek into the rehearsals, experience what it’s really like to be a dancer at a show, and most importantly meet some fantastic people in our local Chorley ballet scene! Pink ballet shoes - yes please!! These vibrant beauties just scream spring!
*Tulle is EVERYTHING. But pink tutu, my darling - * you just cannot go wrong, and it doesn't just stop there; a pink ballet dress with pink tutulle - wow - I need one!
That floral ballet print!! - absolutely beautiful. Floral embellishments are my current obsession! This delicate, feminine detail adds a beautiful pop of color and brings the sweetness of spring right to your tutu.
*Finally, my ballet darlings, I truly believe there's something special about dance, especially during spring.
