Dewsbury Ballet School is always blooming with fresh talent, and this season is no exception! The school's annual spring production, The Awakening of Spring, is set to be a dazzling spectacle. This year's choreography is inspired by nature, featuring elegant flora and fauna costumes, a vibrant use of colour, and breathtaking leaps that seem to touch the sky! The students have been practicing tirelessly, and I can't wait to see the result!

A little birdy told me that Dewsbury’s town square is transforming into a vibrant outdoor performance space! Yes, you heard right, my lovely ballet fans! This month will see the return of “Dancing in the Square” – a charming initiative that brings a dose of ballet magic to our beloved Dewsbury. Expect breathtaking performances from Dewsbury’s rising stars, showcasing a blend of contemporary and classical ballet styles.
For a truly magical experience, arrive early to secure a spot in the center of the square. Grab a picnic basket, spread out a blanket, and soak up the dazzling spectacle of dance against the twilight sky!
