The Fairy Garden Has Opened: A Spring Spectacle at Upminster Arts Centre
If you're looking for a dose of magical enchantment this spring, head on down to Upminster Arts Centre! This month, they're hosting a simply divine ballet production called "The Fairy Garden". Picture a ballet set in a secret, enchanted forest where playful fairies, cheeky gnomes, and mischievous pixies pirouette and twirl amongst blooming flowers and sparkling dew drops!
Costumes to Die For!
Okay, you all know I have a slight obsession with tutus, and the costumes for "The Fairy Garden" are seriously giving me major fashion envy! Think delicate, gossamer wings, sparkling emerald green tutus with delicate flower appliques, and tiny gnome hats topped with adorable felt mushrooms! It's enough to make even the most jaded ballerina gasp! The entire production looks so beautifully crafted and fairytale-like. Honestly, I can't wait to be whisked away to this enchanting forest!
Don't Miss Out on the Open Class!
If you've ever wanted to try ballet, this is the perfect opportunity! "The Fairy Garden" cast is hosting a special open class in April for aspiring young ballerinas! It's an opportunity to learn some of the enchanting choreography, create your own whimsical flower crown, and experience the magic of ballet firsthand! (There might even be some yummy fairy cake at the end…🤫).
A Sneak Peek at "Swan Lake" in June
Speaking of upcoming events, Upminster Ballet School is putting on a spectacular production of "Swan Lake" in June. I hear that this is going to be a real showstopper.
